WaySox knocked out 15 hits but were out gunned by the Boston Bombers who had 13 of there own including 5 extra base hits and a 2-run HR. AJ Bucciarelli, Jeff Coveney, and Nimish Shah had 3 hits a piece but the Sox left 16 men on base.
Santarpio's served the post game spread that tasted a little like the playoffs slipping away.
Sox exploded for 8 runs in the first, 18 total, on 20 hits as they ripped Medford 18-1 and swept the season series. AJ Bucciarelli had 3 hits and a web gem at 2B. Mike Ganley chipped in 3 hits and all the Sox scored at least 1 run.
John Jones continued his quest to break the single season BB/Innings record as he pitched 6+ innings for the win, giving up only 2 hits and 1 run. Nimish Shah handled the dish superbly and the Sox defense was solid. Frank Kowalski ignited an ugly incident with his complete Manny-like lack of hustle on a popup that landed 5 feet in front of the plate and was called a foul ball.

Taking a 2 run lead into the 9th, the Sox saw the game unravel on two hits, a balk, and a couple errors. We had our chances earlier to blow the game open but didn't. To add insult to injury, "Manny" Wolf didn't have any beer. Dice-K pitched a great game and Ganley finally chipped in with a couple hits.
