In brighter news, we had a record crowd to watch the game as Ramon pulled up the bus and brought the whole family!

Korean Wins Battle of Lexington

Jun 20 2008 7:53PM

Sunghoi An threw a 2-hitter but the Sox again waited until their last at bat to string some hits together. Fortunately, this time, we scored enough to beat the Lexington Astros, 6-1.

Eight straight Sox reached base in the 7th after Ramon's 3 pitch whiff and Wayland scored six runs on 5 hits including 2 RBI singles by Bill Carlezon and Al Visnick and then a 2 RBI double by John Jones. Frankie K. had a rough night and stormed home after the game leaving several untouched Bud Lights in the cooler. Booch had a cheapie over third to maintain his 30+ hit streak.
